A group of Volunteers from Brighton Housing Trust met at the Mayor’s Parlour in the Town Hall to be presented with an award for their work.

After an informal meting over tea, coffee, and biscuits, then in a short speech the Mayor praised the team saying how indispensable volunteers are to the work force.

Mayor Brian Fitch and his wife Mrs Mayor presented the prized certificates.

Brighton Housing Trust is one of the chosen charities to be supported by the Town Council this year and awards were presented during Volunteers Week.

The Mayor mentioned that it was unfortunate CEO Andy Winters couldn’t be present as he was on jury service. Lucy Enever (promotion) and Liz Davies (fund raiser) represented him…… Anthony Irtelli BHT’s Creative Director took pictures.
