Fund Raising for First Base BHT

Local Dignitaries including the Mayor of Brighton met at ‘First Base’ to meet with Brighton Housing Trust on Saturday 23 August.
The premise behind the meeting was to demonstrate the valuable work First Base does on a daily basis in helping rehabilitate rough sleepers and similar homeless. people.
Several BHT staff including Andy Winter CEO and, Simon Hughes the manager of First Base gave up part of their weekend to host the meeting.
Chris Ellis, a creative writer with the First Base having given a speech, commented that the meeting was “Putting flesh on the dry bones of facts and figures” it was an opportunity for others to see the invaluable work BHT does.
