A Day in the Life

A visitor from film company Ridley Scott Associates came to BHT to make a video for Client Hub. George Keeble a Runner from RSA gave up a day off to visit BHT only to discover there was only one person interested, me.
After twenty takes we finally got something in the can.
Ridley Scott (no connection) made sci-fi classic ‘Alien’ among other Box Office Hits. They are up for an Oscar at this year’s awards in Hollywood for the best short film: The Phone Call.

My next fixture was a visit to The Toy Museum where I helped make another video for the children’s archive they are compiling. This time it was made in almost one go. I described my childhood toy collection. Their emphasis was on Teddy Bears and mechanical toys like Meccanno. I didn’t really have a teddy bear.

The book review ‘Three Kings’came next (see above) and this was followed by a book called The History of the Monotype Corporation. My Father worked here as Chief Designer for many years and produced such innovations as Word Processing and Laser printing. The book is only available on Amazon.

I have just enrolled for an exhibition course at First Base, an arm of BHT’s.
The show will happen at The Quaker Meeting House on March 27th
Exact date supplied later.
The event will cover individual art and photographic displays as well as happenings.
